This week FEI Dressage Judge Janet Foy joins us to talk about her promotion to 5*status, USDF GMO Coordinator, Maggie Shell, explains the types of memberships you and your horse need for the competition season, and in the education segment, we start a new series on rider biomechanics with Dr. Hilary Clayton.
Janet Foy, Colorado Springs, CO, is an FEI 5* Dressage judge, a USEF S Dressage judge, and a USEF R Sport Horse Breeding judge. She is a USDF L Education Program faculty member; a USEF Dressage Committee member; and a member of the USDF Judges and L Program Committees. She is the author of Dressage for the not-So-Perfect Horse and Dressage Questions and Answers.
Hillary Clayton BVMS, PHD, DACVSMR, MRCVS, Mason, MI, is an equestrian, veterinarian, author, researcher, and clinician, Dr. Clayton has conducted targeted studies on bitting, saddle fit biometrics, kinematics and kinetics, and locomotion. She established Sport Horse Science, LLC. and is vice president of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Clayton has been inducted into the International Equine Veterinarians Hall of Fame, the Saskatoon sports Hall of Fame and the Midwest Dressage Association Hall of Fame. As a rider, Dr. Clayton has earned her USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals.

Isabell Werth, Rheinberg, GER, is the most decorated rider in Olympic history with 10 Olympic medals, 7 World Championships, 13 European Championships, and 14 German Championships. Isabell captivated the crowd at the FEI World Cup™ Finals Omaha 2017, winning the FEI Grand Prix competition at the CenturyLink Center on Thursday. Riding her Olympic mount Weihegold, Werth rode to an impressive score of 82.300%, the only entry to score above 80%.
Coralie Hughes, Coatesville, IN, is a Certified Practitioner of the Masterson Method of Performance Equine Bodywork. In addition to earning her USDF Bronze Medal, Coralie, is a German to English translator and co-author of the Dressage Movements Revealed DVD set and The Dressage Horse Optimized.
